Despite being included in trade rumors almost every season, Damian Lillard has remained loyal to the Trail Blazers. The 32-year-old superstar maintains that he still wants to win a championship in Portland but his patience is waning.
Recently Lillard was asked a direct question of where he would like to be traded to if came down to that. He didn’t need any time to think to answer the question.
“Miami obviously,” Lillard chuckled. “Miami is the obvious one. Bam [Adebayo] is my dawg. Bam is my dawg for real. I think Miami is the obvious one. Brooklyn is another obvious one because Mikal Bridges is my dawg too.”
This past season Lillard averaged 32.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists in 36.3 minutes per game. He has two more years left on his current contract.
