The Lakers are step away from returning to the conference finals for the first time since the 2020 championship year. Los Angeles edged the Warriors at home in Game 4 (104-101) to take a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Semifinals.

Magic Johnson, who won five NBA titles as a Laker, took to Twitter to express his reaction to the win. He singled out Lonnie Walker IV for having a huge fourth quarter in this game.

The 24-year-old guard scored all of his 15 points in the final period. “Lonnie Walker put the @Lakers on his back tonight scoring 15 points in the fourth quarter!” Johnson tweeted.

The NBA legend warned that it will be very difficult to close out the series in Game 5. “The hardest thing to do is to close a team out like the World Champion Golden State Warriors,” he tweeted.
