The Lakers are one win away from winning the first round series against the Grizzlies. Los Angeles won both home games and now lead 3-1 against Memphis.

Austin Reaves was the top scorer for the winners with 23 points. LeBron James produced a massive double-double of 22 points and 20 rebounds.

The whole Lakers starting lineup finished Game 4 in double-digit scoring, leading their team to an overtime win against the Grizzlies (117-111).

After the game Lakers head coach Darvin Ham talked about how his team managed to force the overtime and get the job done in the extra five minutes.

“Just the way we attacked each possession on both sides of the ball. We had the next play, refuse to quit mentality,” Ham said. “I’m so proud of our guys, the way we fought. We always told them since day one we want to be the most competitive together ball club for 48 minutes of however long it takes. Today it took 53.

“But again, just us figuring out a way, finding a way, everybody’s pulling in the same direction. Shoutout to the Memphis Grizzlies. They’re a hell of a ball club, hell of a ball club. We knew we were going to have our hands full with those guys facing the deficit.

“We had some moments in the game that weren’t too pretty, but again we just chipping away possession by possession, didn’t get discouraged didn’t fall apart. Again, had some unfortunate segments, but for the most part guys came together and dug our heels in the sand when it came time to make the right plays.”
