The Lakers defeated the Bulls in Chicago (121-110) as they bounced back from a home loss a couple of days ago.

Los Angeles was carried by the starters who scored 107 of the team’s 121 points. Anthony Davis was the top scorer with 38 points, followed by LeBron James (25), Austin Reaves (19) and D’Angelo Russell (17).

After the game Lakers head coach Darvin Ham was asked how his starters were able to play so well.

“Again, just communication, those guys talking through the defense, talking through the offense which actions were fruitful, which ones weren’t. And just working through it, talking through it,” he said.

“Chicago’s hell of a ball club with a lot of capable players that do you in. You think about Vooch [Nikola Vucevic] and DeMar [DeRozan], and Zach [LaVine], Coby [White] off the bench. They have a plethora of guys that can make huge impacts throughout the course of 48-minute games.

“We just wanted to try to put them in some uncomfortable positions with their defense and sort of spread the ball around a little bit, not overdose on any one or two actions, but just try to slowly sift through the offense and see what was bringing us the most returns.”
