Grizzlies’ star Ja Morant addressed the media and answered a question about the counselling that he went through in Florida.
According to him, it had nothing to do with alcohol and was intended to teach him how to deal with stress.
“I don’t have an alcohol problem, never had an alcohol problem,” Morant said, via @ohnohedidnt24 of Twitter. “I went [to Florida] for counselling to how to manage cope and stress in a positive way.”
The 23-year-old point guard who hasn’t played since early March is expected to play on Wednesday against the Rockets.
