(Treviso, ITALY) – adidas Basketball is proud to announce the return of adidas Eurocamp, a multi-day showcase of Europe’s most elite NBA draft-eligible athletes. Back for the first time since 2017, the international camp’s 16th edition returns to where it all began at the La Ghirada Sports Complex in Treviso, Italy on June 9-11. This year’s event also welcomes the return of legendary coach Bill Bayno as Coaching Director and the momentous debut of its inaugural Girls Camp on June 13-15, marking the first time that female athletes will be featured in the prestigious event.

As the only officially sanctioned NBA pre-draft camp outside of the United States and historically attended by hundreds of NBA and EuroLeague team personnel, coaches, scouts and agents, adidas Eurocamp offers next gen athletes ages 18-22 the unique opportunity to be coached by current NBA coaches and players and show off their impressive skills on a world stage.

Running the camp for the 30 European NBA draft-eligible prospects will be coach Bill Bayno as Coaching Director, and long-time Eurocamp connoisseur and NBA Executive Gianluca Pascucci as the camp’s new Scouting Director. They will be joined by an assemblage of NBA and international coaches and players.

“I couldn’t be more excited for this summer’s adidas Eurocamp,” says Bayno. “This is the opportunity of a lifetime for Europe’s best players. To witness the launch of their professional basketball careers at an event so dedicated to excellence and inclusion in sport is a great honor.”

“I am truly looking forward to the return of Eurocamp this year,” shares Pascucci. “In years past we’ve seen its tremendous impact and the opportunities generated across the globe. It will be great to welcome a new class of athletes to the Eurocamp legacy.”

Over its 15 previous editions, adidas Eurocamp has produced more than 150 former and current NBA and EuroLeague players. Notable alumni include adidas Basketball’s Goran Dragic (Chicago Bulls), Lu Dort (Oklahoma City Thunder) and Danilo Gallinari (Boston Celtics), as well as Bogdan Bogdanovic (Atlanta Hawks), Jusuf Nurkic (Portland Trail Blazers), Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics) and many more. Forty-one former adidas Eurocamp participants currently hold NBA contracts and 71 currently play in EuroLeague Basketball. With the addition of the Girls Camp, this year’s adidas EuroCamp is set to make an even wider impact than ever before.

“Amplifying and elevating the women’s game has always been a tenet of adidas Basketball, so to be able to give these young players the platform to shine and reach for a brighter future is something we are ecstatic to bring to fruition,” said Eric Wise, Global General Manager of Adidas Basketball. “We are so proud to be offering the same resources, tools and opportunities to all adidas Eurocamp athletes to achieve basketball dreams.”

Alongside instruction and guidance from some of the world’s best coaches and players, adidas Eurocamp also gives young athletes the potential to gain exposure across on a global scale. The world will be watching as media from the U.S and Europe including outlets such as ESPN, NBA‐TV, Sports Illustrated, SLAM Magazine, Super Basket, Mondial Basket, Gigantes and more will all be on hand to cover the international event.
