According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Los Angeles Lakers are progressing toward a 10-day contract with five-year NBA veteran guard/forward Sterling Brown. Brown has played for Raptors 905 in G League this season and brings wing depth to the Lakers.

Brown, 27, is 6-foot-5 and appeared in 49 games with the Mavericks last season, averaging 3.3 points and 3.0 rebounds, shooting 38 percent from the field. He was waived by the Thunder in October.
