Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault had some great things to say about rookie Paolo Banchero following Wednesday’s 126-115 road loss vs. the Orlando Magic (25 points/8 rebounds/7 assists/1 steal/8-17 FG/2-5 3-PT/7-9 FT).

(via Bally Sports Southwest):

“He’s an impressive player, obviously. He made jump shots tonight, which makes him really tough when he does that because he’s got the foul drawing, he’s got the driving, and he’s got the passing. I’ve been impressed with how unselfish he is, he draws defenses and makes the right play. There was one time we tried to zone them, and he just kinda quarterbacked their team and found a wide open shot. He’s a very mature player physically for a rookie and a 19-year-old, and he’s really mature in terms of his game. He’s an impressive player.”
