Sports analyst Stephen A. Smith unloaded on the Lakers and especially Russell Westbrook after the former NBA MVP had another poor performance for the team against the Trail Blazers.

Smith pointed at the “horrible” statistics of Russ as well as at his poor attitude that is dragging the team down. “This roster is horrible,” Smith said on ESPN’s First Take. “It has got your [Rob Pelinka’s] fingerprints all over it. It’s horrible.

“And even LeBron James can have the finger pointed at him for pushing for Russell Westbrook to come to his roster and therefore can’t escape any culpability whatsoever, it doesn’t negate the fact that if you’re Russell Westbrook, you got to know what your strengths and weaknesses are and you got to let go of the stubbornness.

“You know what kind of season you had last year. Well, it’s three games in you’re averaging 10 points. He’s shooting 28% from the field. Ladies and gentlemen, Russell Westbrook is shooting 8% from the three-point range. Eight! Eight! 1/12 to be specific. That’s horrible.”
