According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Cleveland Cavaliers are signing former Atlanta Hawks guard Sharife Cooper to a training camp deal.
Cooper, who was selected in the second round by Atlanta in 2021, last played in the NBA for the Hawks during Las Vegas Summer League a few months ago.
In 13 appearances last season, he averaged 0.5 points on 21.4% shooting along with 0.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists.
