According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Charlotte Hornets are set to bring Mike D’Antoni to meet with owner Michael Jordan later this week about being their new head coach.
D’Antoni will follow the Golden State Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson, who’s expected to meet with Michael Jordan on Tuesday.
Both Atkinson and D’Antoni have already met with management twice, and the Hornets are expected to extend an offer to a candidate after the final round with Jordan.
