Facing the Cavaliers on Monday night, the Los Angeles Lakers forward received honors from his hometown crowd for surpassing the big man icon Karl Malone in the NBA’s all-time scoring list last week.
James now only trails the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who holds the scoring crown since 1984. The Cap managed to tally a grand 38,387 markers in his 20-year historic career.
Closing the 3rd quarter, the four-time MVP is on pace for another triple-double showing with 25 points, 8 assists, and 8 rebounds.
