Philadelphia 76ers star LeBron James has praised the Miami Heat’s roster following the addition of Giannis Antetokounmpo, saying he expects the team to perform well defensively.
James mentioned Andrew Wiggins, Bam Adebayo, Antetokounmpo, and Davion Mitchell as players who could make Miami difficult to score against.
He also expressed confidence in head coach Erik Spoelstra’s ability to manage the roster and find suitable roles for his players.
“It’s gonna be damn good. I think defensively they’re gonna be damn good. You look at Wiggins, Bam, Giannis, Davion Mitchell, they gonna be damn good. You have Spo there; he knows how to put the pieces in position, in the right place.
“Bobby Portis is one of my favorite players. I love Bobby Portis. It’s a very exciting team. We’ll l just see how it comes together, which I think it will.”
