Miami Heat forward Markieff Morris is set to miss more games this season.

In a report provided by insider Kyle Cohen, following the Heat’s clash against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, Morris didn’t travel with his team on the four-game road trip – slated to be unavailable against the Philadelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic, and Detroit Pistons, respectively.

Morris currently clings to the recovery of the neck injury he sustained against Denver Nuggets’ lead man Nikola Jokic last month, wherein the two were in the spotlight of body check exchange and discussion in the NBA world.

The veteran has already missed 19 straight games for Miami – equivalent to nearly ¼ of the season. The management hasn’t released a timetable yet for his return.

Morris is averaging 7.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists for the 16-12 Heat.
