Memphis Grizzlies head coach revealed the exact timetable on Ja Morant, who was ruled out with a knee injury during the game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Morant sustained a non-contact leg injury that forced him out for the rest of the contest. The Grizzlies later revealed it was a left knee sprain.

Memphis’ head coach Taylor Jenkins admitted that his superstar avoided a serious injury; however, he will still miss “a few weeks”, due to the current knee issue.

For what it’s worth, the 22-year-old is expected to make a full recovery when he returns. The Grizzlies are expected to take a cautious approach with their young star.

Before his injury against the Hawks, Morant was averaging 25.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.7 steals per game leading the Grizzlies’ great start to the season.
