Free agent forward Caleb Martin is signing a two-way contract with the Miami Heat, according to Shams Charania.
Martin spent his first two NBA seasons playing with his twin brother Cody on the Charlotte Hornets and the two will now play against each other four times this upcoming season.
In 53 games last season, Caleb averaged 5.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in 15.4 minutes per game.
The 25-year-old was waived by the Hornets on August 7 before his salary for the 2021-22 season could become fully guaranteed.
Both of the Heat’s two-way slots are now filled by Martin and undrafted Kansas rookie guard Marcus Garrett.
The Heat’s roster is also now full at 20 players.
NBA teams can carry 20 players through training camp and preseason before rosters are trimmed to 17 (15 on standard contracts and two on two-way contracts) before the start of the regular season on Oct. 19.
