Since winning their 17th NBA championship in 2020, the Los Angeles Lakers have completely revamped their roster. As observed by Basketball Forever on Twitter, only four players that were on the 2019-2020 team will start the 2021-2022 season for the Lakers.
Those players are LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Talen Horton-Tucker and Dwight Howard, who returned to Los Angeles after a season with the Philadelphia 76ers.
The team added eight new players this offseason, namely Russell Westbrook, Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, Trevor Ariza, Kent Bazemore, Wayne Ellington, Malik Monk and Kendrick Nunn.
