The Los Angeles Lakers will have two new co-owners after billionaire Philip Anschutz decided to sell his stake in the team. Anschutz, who founded AEG, held 27% stake in the Lakers. He also owns the team’s home court Staples Center.
Mark Walter and Todd Boehly agreed to buy Anschutz’s stake. The two are among owners of a baseball team the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Buss family holds the controlling stake at 66%.
