Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry has declined an invitation to join the 12-man Team USA roster for the Tokyo Olympics, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Lowry decided to decline because of his important, impending free agency this offseason.
The 35-year-old made his Team USA debut at the 2016 Olympic Games where he won a gold medal.
Lowry joins other stars Chris Paul, Stephen Curry, Donovan Mitchell, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Jimmy Butler as players who have declined a Team USA invite.
One spot remains for Team USA’s 12-man roster and the last commitment is expected to come soon.
