Austin Rivers’ future is still very uncertain. The veteran guard is out of the Knicks rotation and hasn’t played since February 13.

Other players got more minutes, such as Immanuel Quickley, Alec Burks and Frank Ntilikina. Rivers has also recently been away from the team due to his child being born.

Rivers was expected to enter the trade for Derrick Rose last February, but that didn’t happen.

According to reports from ESPN’s Zach Lowe, Rivers could re-enter the Knicks’ rotations if a team is not found for him before Thursday.

At the moment, the main candidate are the Milwaukee Bucks, who consider Rivers the ideal player to replace DJ Augustin.
