Andre Drummond remains a player of the Cleveland Cavaliers as the NBA trade deadline is approaching. The Cavs are still looking for a way to trade the center.
However, if a suitable deal is not found, the 27-year-old could be bought out. In that case, the Los Angeles Lakers will make a push to get him.
According to ESPN’s NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the reigning NBA champions are big on Drummond, who is one of the main targets for them.
“Certainly Andre Drummond remains a real big target for the Lakers if he’s bought-out, doesn’t get traded between now and Thursday,” Woj said on ESPN’s Get Up.
This season, Drummond is averaging 17.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
