According to sports analyst Shannon Sharpe, Lillard is the greatest clutch player of this generation. He is only compared to Michael Jordan when it comes to ability to seal the games.
“Dame is the greatest clutch player of this generation. Michael Jordan and Dame are the only players to end 2 playoff series on game-winning shots. He’s clutch, I’ve seen enough,” Sharpe said on UNDISPUTED.
This season, Lillard is averaging 29.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game and is working his way into the MVP conversation.
