Kevin Durant has not missed a bit, despite sitting out last season to rehab an Achilles injury. After another impressive performance, the Brooklyn Nets superstar joined Wilt Chamberlain in a special category.

KD became only the second player in NBA history to average 30 points through his first 15 games with a new team joining Wilt Chamberlain, who did it with the Warriors in the 1959-60 season.

The Nets’ superstar put up 32 points on 13-of-26 shooting to propel the Nets to a close-fought win over the Atlanta Hawks in overtime.

Durant combined for 63 points with fellow superstar James Harden to lead the Nets in scoring. Kyrie Irving followed them adding 26 points.

The Nets improved to 12-8 being on a three-game winning streak. The next 10 of 13 games for Steve Nash and his players will be on the road.
