The Cleveland Cavaliers’ sophomore Darius Garland is going to miss at least a week with a sprained shoulder, as the team announced.

Garland suffered the injury against Atlanta on Jan. 2 and he was held out of Monday night’s road game against the Magic, then had an MRI on Tuesday.

Garland is averaging 17.2 points per game and 6.3 assists a game. He has taken a step forward with his game this season and have been solid for the Cavs at their surprising regular season start.

Garland could miss up to one week, but will be re-evaluated daily through treatment and rehabilitation. The Cavs are also missing point guard Dante Exum and veteran guard Matthew Dellavedova.

Exum will miss at least a month, while Dellavedova is on the concussion protocol.
