LeBron James started the Los Angeles Lakers training camp by showing respect to the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi, who died in a tragic helicopter crash last January.

After the first practice, the four-time NBA champion wore a T-shirt with pictures of Kobe and Gigi embracing each other. The photo was posted by the official Instagram account of the Lakers with a comment “Family is forever”.

James, who turns 36 in late December, has committed his future to the Lakers by signing a two-year, $85 million contract extension. The deal will keep him in Los Angeles until 2023.
