The New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to a one-year, minimum deal with Willy Hernangomez, per Shams Charania.

The 26-year-old center joined the New York Knicks in 2016 after a five-year stint with Real Madrid in Spain. He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2015 but saw his rights traded to New York, where he debuted the following year.

Hernangomez spent the last two seasons with the Charlotte Hornets. He made 31 outings for the team last season, averaging 6.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
