A historic moment, which started with the decision of the Milwaukee Bucks to not play, happened on Wednesday, as the players decided to go on strike demanding social change.

According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, there were several different options on how the players were going to move on, after the decision to not play.

The Miami Heat veteran Udonis Haslem questioned Lebron James and George Hill about the way they plan to move forward.

According to Haynes’ report:

“Haslem — in a clear message to Hill — stated that it was irresponsible and selfish for an established veteran to suggest that everyone should go home because younger players haven’t accumulated the wealth for such a drastic action, sources said.”

With emotions running high, Haslem also challenged Lebron James claiming that he is the face of the league.

“With emotions all over the place, Haslem pressed James and asked the star what he planned to do, reminding him that he’s the face of the league and it goes as he goes, sources said.

James then said, “We’re out,” and walked out with almost all of his teammates following behind, sources said, with Dwight Howard being the only Laker who remained.”

On Thursday, the players decided to resume play tomorrow, after a two-day strike that led the world to listen to athletes and bring the attention back to racial inequality and police brutality.
