Kevin Durant stated there was no pressure from the Golden State Warriors to return from his injury sooner than expected.
The two-time NBA champion got injured during the postseason and returned in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors. However, he ruptured his Achilles and will now miss the entire 2019/20 season.
In an appearance on ESPN’s First Take, Durant admitted that neither the front office of the Warriors nor his teammates put any pressure on him to return for the Finals.
