Anthony Edwards drops 33 points as Timberwolves rout Suns in Game 1

Anthony Edwards put on a spectacular show, scoring 33 points to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a commanding 120-95 victory over the Phoenix Suns in Game 1 of the NBA playoffs.

The third-seeded Timberwolves dominated from start to finish, setting the tone for the series with an impressive display of offensive firepower and suffocating defense.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Nickeil Alexander-Walker provided valuable support, contributing 19 and 18 points respectively to bolster Minnesota’s scoring efforts. Rudy Gobert anchored the defense with his rim protection, grabbing 16 rebounds and making a significant impact on both ends of the floor.

The Suns, led by Kevin Durant’s 31 points, struggled to contain the Timberwolves’ relentless attack. Despite solid performances from Durant, Devin Booker (18 points), and Bradley Beal (15 points), Phoenix faltered against Minnesota’s balanced offensive assault and dominant rebounding.

Edwards seized control of the game in the third quarter, igniting a pivotal 19-4 run with his scoring outburst and electrifying the home crowd with his fearless play.
