In the two games that were decided in the final minute, Bamberg defeated AEK Athens at home (71-67) and earned its 12th straight win in all competitions, while Hapoel edged Tenerife in Jerusalem (75-73).
At the same time, Nanterre rallied past Virtus Bologna (83-75) and Antwerp dominated Nizhny Novgorod in Russia (68-83).
Game 2 will be played next Wednesday (03/04) and will determine the four teams that will reach the Final Four.
