Nando De Colo was unstoppable (27 points) and helped CSKA Moscow edge Maccabi Tel-Aviv on the road (86-89) and remain perfect (2-0).
Both teams played very well offensively and the Muscovites were in front by four (46-50) at halftime. The hosts, though, took the lead at the end of the third quarter (68-67) and tried to earn their first victory in the league.
Yet, the Russians regained the lead and defeated their opponents (76-85, 83-88), who ran out of time and couldn’t win the game.
De Colo led CSKA in scoring, with 27 points on 11/16 shooting. Kyle Hines had 14 points and Will Clyburn 11, along with 10 rebounds, for the winners.
On the other hand, Angelo Caloiaro posted a team-high 21 points for the losing squad and Michael Roll added 15 points and seven assists.
