Maccabi Tel Aviv rebounds with an away victory against Milan

In a comeback from the initially postponed EuroLeague Regular Season Round 2, Maccabi Tel Aviv secured a crucial 98-90 victory on Italian turf, pushing EA7 Emporio Armani Milan to the second-to-last spot in the standings with a 1-4 record.

This rebound followed a substantial loss against AS Monaco in the Principality. For Milan, it marked their third consecutive defeat in European competition.

Jasiel Rivero and Lorenzo Brown took center stage in the pick-and-roll (P&R) plays for Oded Kattash’s squad.

The former Valencia player, making an impact off the bench, had a standout performance with 21 points, predominantly earned in the paint by grabbing rebounds and shooting an impressive 8 out of 9 from two-point range.

“We’ve been through a lot this month. Lack of practices and games, but we have to come here every single night and play with intensity. It’s a weird situation but we’re trying to balance everything,” Lorenzo Brown said.
