Former NBA MVP Derrick Rose has been traded to the New York Knicks in a deal that sends Spanish international Jose Calderon to the Chicago Bulls.
Also included in the package are Robin Lopez and Jerian Grant, who head to the Bulls.
The move pairs Calderón and Pau Gasol up in Chicago but the move could possibly mean that Calderón might skip Rio 2016 for Spain as he gets accustomed to his new surroundings.
Rose will join Carmelo Anthony in New York.
Sources: The Bulls and Knicks are in advanced discussions on Derrick Rose-Robin Lopez deal that involves guard Justin Holiday to New York.
