Bulls assistant Maurice Cheeks is anticipated to transition from his current full-time, on-bench position under Billy Donovan’s staff. However, Cheeks may still continue with the team in a different capacity under Donovan.
Additionally, assistant coach Chris Fleming is no longer part of the staff as Chicago and Donovan make adjustments.
Moving forward, Bulls assistant coach John Bryant is poised to assume a more prominent role on the front of the bench next season under Donovan’s leadership.
Bryant has garnered extensive experience as an NBA and G League assistant over the past 14 years, having coached in various G League teams and worked under notable coaches such as Donovan, Doc Rivers, and Brett Brown.
