Joel Embiid drops 50 points as 76ers win Game 3 against Knicks

In a remarkable display of resilience and skill, Joel Embiid led the Philadelphia 76ers to a pivotal 125-114 victory over the New York Knicks in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference first-round series.

Despite battling both physical and mental challenges, including Bell’s palsy and knee issues, Embiid delivered a historic performance, scoring 50 points and propelling the Sixers to a crucial win on their home court.

Embiid’s stellar performance was instrumental in turning the tide for the Sixers, who now trail the series 2-1 with Game 4 set to take place in Philadelphia on Sunday.

The reigning MVP made all four of his 3-point attempts and dominated the third quarter with 18 points to swing the momentum in Philadelphia’s favor.

Alongside Embiid’s heroics, Tyrese Maxey delivered a strong performance with 25 points, providing crucial support for the Sixers’ offensive onslaught. Kelly Oubre Jr. added 15 points and seven assists.

Despite the Knicks’ efforts, led by Jalen Brunson’s 39 points and 13 assists, they were unable to contain Embiid’s dominant presence on the court. Josh Hart contributed 20 points, while OG Anunoby added 17 for New York.
