LeBron James has voiced his support for his son, Bronny James, as the rookie prepares for his Los Angeles Lakers debut. Bronny, drafted at No. 55 by the Lakers this past summer, is facing both anticipation and criticism.

Amid scrutiny, LeBron took to Instagram to offer encouragement. “Keep working kid and f*<k all the hate/noise! You know your personal legend! THEY DON’T KNOW YOU!” the four-time NBA champion wrote.

Bronny’s college career at USC drew criticism due to his average performance. He averaged 4.8 points per game in 19.3 minutes, ranking as the eighth-leading scorer on his team.

Doubts about the legitimacy of his draft position have arisen, with some suggesting nepotism played a role. His Summer League performance also came under fire, with averages of 8.8 points per game on 35.0% shooting from the field and 15.8% from beyond the arc.
