Joel Embiid dominates with 37 points as 76ers overpower Pistons

Joel Embiid led the charge with a 37-point performance as the Philadelphia 76ers (45-35) secured a convincing 120-102 victory over the struggling Detroit Pistons (13-66) on Tuesday night.

Embiid’s display included 11 rebounds and eight assists. The win extends the 76ers’ winning streak to six games as they continue their push to avoid the Play-In Tournament and vie for the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Buddy Hield and Kelly Oubre Jr. provided valuable contributions with 18 and 17 points, respectively. Tobias Harris added a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Despite a spirited effort from Jaden Ivey (25 points) and Evan Fournier (21 points), the Pistons couldn’t withstand the relentless attack from Embiid and the Sixers.

The absence of Tyrese Maxey and Kyle Lowry due to injuries didn’t hinder the 76ers’ performance.
