AEK remains undefeated afte 5 games, this time overtaking the obstacle of Kavala. The game had a frantic pace early on with both sides scoring with great totals while they paid little attention in defense. 28-21 was the score ath the end of the first period and the visitors were the ones that returned more concentrated in the game, forcing some bad offensive choices for AEK, the same time they dominated the rebounds. For the defeated team, Jones added 22.

Other Results:

A.E.N.Kifissias- Koroivos Amaliadas 60-61

A very weird finale to a tight and close match, gave Koroivos their 3rd win this season against Kifissia. Gkikas scores for 2 with the score at 58-61 but everyone believed it counted for 3, since this is what the leaderboard showed. With this way the team from Amaliada escaped with the 2 important points.

Kolossos Rhodes- Arkadikos 83-70

Kolossos was in control of the game from start to finish, mostly because they ended the first period in front 23-7. However they took care of bussiness defensively all the way and managed to get a good win at home. MVP was Manolopoulos with points, 4 rebounds. For the visitors, Lampropoulos also had 15 points.

Aris- Trikala B.C. 84-79

Very close game in Nick Gallis Hall, where Aris and Trikala put up on a fight, with the home team finally taking the win behind Waters’ 20 and Haggins’ 19 points. The home side defended very well at the closing quarter and the many missed shots Trikala had, allowed them to avoid an upset.

A.G.O.Rethimno- P.A.O.K. 63-74

PAOK travelled all the way to Creta to face the locals, and they were superior at most points of the game, using their strong defense and rebound dominance as their main weapons. Hutser had 21 points for the visiting side, and for AGOR Schaftenaar added 17.

Olympiacos- Lavrio G.S. 108-39

Not many things to analyse here since Lavrio never got in the game, allowing a blowout from Olympiacos who however showed no mercy to the newcomers. Spanoulis scored 19 points and for Lavrio, Evans was the top scorer with only 9 points.

Apollon Patras- Panathinaikos 80-90

Panathinaikos started the game very well taking a good 21-9 lead but soon Apollon returned to the game, achieving to stay close until the 4th period. With 4 minutes left, the home team was in front 78-77 but the ‘Greens’ had a 13-0 run to storm past them and finally took the win on the road, with Kuzmic adding 18.
