Aris B.C.- Olympiacos 70-74

Aris and Olympiacos put up a big fight Monday night, but after a tight game the “Reds” contained White who was on fire at the beginning and behind Spanoulis’ 17 points, they are now very close to finishing the regular season at the top spot.

Lavrio G.S.- Apollon Patras 80-64

Lavrio marches on and this time they crashed Apollon Patras, since the visitors depended a lot on Dillard’s offensive play. When he got tired, they were out of solutions, Young reached 14 points for Lavrio and combined with intense defense, they sealed the deal.

A.E.K.- Kolossos Rhodes 92-57

The home team started the match playing quick basketball and applying pressure to Kolossos frontline, forcing them to stay behind 28-14 after 10′. Since then, the Rhodians looked to regain some confidence but they never could become a serious threat, so as a result they gave up at the 4th, allowing the margin to take a bigger scale. MVP was Kalampokis with 17 points for “Dikefalos”.

Koroivos Amaliadas- Arkadikos 60-61

Arkadikos escaped Amaliada with a huge win on the road after a tight, intense and nail-bitting match. After the passing of the 1st quarter, they had control of the pace but could not step on the gas and take a safe lead, but at least they were the ones celebrating in the end, Man of the Match was Jones with 21 points, but Davis’ performance for the  guests will be remembered for a long time. He scored 36 out of 60 points (13/22 attempts) for Koroivos, and also shared 5 dimes. His heroics however, were not enough for his club.

Trikala B.C.- P.A.O.K. 79-88

After an offense minded first period, PAOK focused more on their defensive duties, allowed less rebounds for Trikala and got to the locker rooms in front 37-46. Trikala took advantage of the break, so they tried to turn things around but once again the home team was positive on offense to secure the lead until the end. MVP was Hutcher with 22 points.

A.E.N.Kiffisias- A.G.O.Rethimno 100-88

Fair and square win for AENK as they played excellent and enjoyable offensive basketball, scored 20 or more points in each quarter and with a buzzer beater shot they reached exactly 100 points behind El-Amin’s contribution (25 p.) and Hogg’s all around stat line (12 p. 12 rebs and 2 assists.)

Kavala B.C.- Panathinaikos 76-82

Panathinaikos could not get a heads up against Kavala until the 3rd quarter when with a partial 12-20 they took full control of the match until the end. Feldein had 22 points for the “Greens”.
