Joel Embiid leads 76ers to commanding win over Grizzlies

Joel Embiid nothed 30 points and 12 rebounds in just 23 minutes, propelling the Philadelphia 76ers (43-35) to a convincing 116-96 win over the depleted Memphis Grizzlies (27-51).

Scotty Pippen Jr. led the way for the Grizzlies with 24 points, but their efforts fell short against the Sixers’ attack led by Embiid and Kelly Oubre Jr., who contributed 17 points. GG Jackson provided support for Pippen with 17 points.

Philadelphia’s commanding lead at halftime set the tone for the rest of the game, with Embiid’s dominant first-half performance establishing a comfortable cushion that Memphis struggled to overcome.

With the victory, the Sixers move within striking distance of securing a playoff spot, positioning themselves just half a game behind the seventh-place Miami Heat and a game behind the sixth-place Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference standings.
