Last week, while traveling through Wisconsin for his campaign, President Joe Biden had a confidential meeting with Wes Edens, the billionaire owner of the Milwaukee Bucks, and Doc Rivers, the team’s head coach.
This meeting, which was not disclosed previously and discussed by three individuals who are familiar with it but cannot speak publicly about it, occurred at a downtown hotel last Wednesday.
The meeting followed an official event at a Milwaukee Boys and Girls Club where the administration highlighted its Reconnecting Communities initiative, aiming to allocate infrastructure funds to neglected communities.
