DeRozan and White combine for 66 points in Bulls’ OT win over Timberwolves

Coby White and DeMar DeRozan orchestrated a remarkable comeback, each scoring 33 points, as the Chicago Bulls (24-27) rallied from a 23-point deficit to secure a thrilling 129-123 overtime victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves (35-16) on Tuesday night.

Nikola Vucevic’s 24 points and Andre Drummond’s dominant performance with 16 points, 16 rebounds, and four blocked shots also played pivotal roles in the Bulls’ comeback victory.

Despite Anthony Edwards’ stellar performance with 38 points and 12 rebounds for the Timberwolves, Chicago’s resilience proved too much to overcome.

After trailing by 22 points at halftime, the Bulls staged a remarkable comeback, fueled by White’s explosive scoring in the second half.

DeRozan showcased his clutch gene by scoring the Bulls’ first six points in overtime, guiding Chicago to victory despite missing key players Patrick Williams and Zach LaVine.

All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns’ contributed 33 points and seven 3-pointers wasn’t enough to secure the win for Minnesota, as Chicago’s tenacious defense stifled their offense in the second half.
