Lauri Markkanen’s dominant performance, with 33 points and 11 rebounds, propelled the Utah Jazz (26-26) to a surprise 124-117 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder (35-16) on Tuesday night.
John Collins and Keyonte George contributed significantly, scoring 22 and 16 points respectively for Utah. Collin Sexton added 14 points.
Despite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 28 points for the Thunder, Utah’s resilience and offensive firepower led them to victory.
Jalen Williams scored 26 points, while Chet Holmgren had 22 points, eight rebounds and four blocks.
