Nick Nurse mentioned that Joel Embiid’s departure from the Philadelphia 76ers’ loss to the Golden State Warriors in the fourth quarter, due to an injury, was unrelated to the center’s recent knee issues.
Embiid exited the game after Jonathan Kuminga landed on his leg. Despite feeling good before the Warriors game, Embiid is set for an MRI. Nurse also noted that the medical staff was confident in clearing him to play.
