Terry Rozier compares Hornets and Heat: “Total opposite”

Former Charlotte Hornets shooting guard Terry Rozier, who recently made the move to the Miami Heat after over four years with the Hornets, offered insights into the striking differences between the two franchises.

Rozier, now a part of the Heat roster, candidly expressed, “It’s the total opposite. In Charlotte, you’re kinda used to losing. It’s in the DNA. Over here, it’s the total opposite. Nobody wants to lose. Nobody is fine with it,” as reported by Wes Goldberg.

Having experienced a change in scenery, Rozier is adjusting to the contrasting team cultures. In Charlotte, where he spent a considerable part of his career, the acceptance of losses seemed ingrained. However, in Miami, Rozier observes a different mindset – a collective determination to avoid defeat at all costs.

Since joining the Miami Heat, Rozier has yet to savor victory, with the team currently holding a winless record of 0-4 in games where he has been on the court.

Over the course of these four games with the Heat, Rozier has contributed to the team’s efforts, averaging 11.8 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per game in an average playing time of 29.5 minutes.
