Recent reports suggest that the relationship between the Chicago Bulls and Zach LaVine may be heading towards a separation, as both parties are reportedly keen on exploring trade opportunities.

NBA insider Brian Windhorst has revealed that there is mutual interest in parting ways between the Bulls and LaVine, despite the challenges of finding a suitable trade in the current market.

Windhorst shared on NBA Today, “If they could trade Zach LaVine in the next five minutes, they would trade him, and Zach would happily go to the airport. I don’t think anything has changed there; I think they absolutely want to trade him,” as reported by Jack Murray of Bleacher Report.

LaVine, a two-time All-Star, has been a vital part of the Bulls, contributing an average of 20.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4 assists in 35.3 minutes per game this season.

However, the main hurdle for potential suitors is LaVine’s existing five-year, $215 million contract, making any trade negotiation a complex process.
