Fox and Sabonis lead Kings’ stunning comeback against Hawks

De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis spearheaded the Sacramento Kings’ (18-12) rally from a 23-point first-quarter deficit to secure a thrilling 117-110 victory over the Atlanta Hawks (12-19).

Fox showcased his scoring prowess with 26 of his 31 points coming in the second half, setting a career-high with 8 three-pointers, while Sabonis contributed a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds, snapping the Kings’ two-game skid.

Trey Lyles added 19 points, and Malik Monk’s impactful 13 first-half points off the bench played a crucial role in narrowing the gap.

Despite Trae Young’s 24 points and a career-high five steals for the Hawks, the Kings staged a remarkable comeback in the fourth quarter.

Jalen Johnson’s 16 points and career-high 15 rebounds were not enough for the struggling Hawks, who have now lost four straight.
