Amid rumors of interest from the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls’ star DeMar DeRozan expresses his love for Chicago, declaring it as home and the place he wants to be.

In an interview with Julia Poe of Chicago Tribune, DeRozan stated, “Chicago is Chicago to me. I love it here. Obviously, it’s a place I want to be in my career. None of that has changed. I don’t have no other type of doubts or feelings or suggestions to be elsewhere. That don’t cross my mind.”

The 34-year-old small forward is currently in the final year of his 3-year, $81.9 million contract, and discussions for an extension with the Bulls during the offseason proved unsuccessful.

Despite the Bulls facing challenges, DeRozan remains committed to the team and the city. His on-court performance reflects his dedication, averaging 22.3 points, 5.3 assists, and 3.6 rebounds in 36.2 minutes per game this season.
