Devin Booker on key to Suns Game 1 loss vs. Nuggets

Devin Booker scored 27 points and dished out 8 assists but it wasn’t for the Suns in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Nuggets.

Phoenix had 17 shot attempts more than Denver. Of those, 14 were three-pointers. In addition, the Suns turned the ball over 16 times while the Nuggets had 9 turnovers. Also, the hosts won the boards 49-38.

According to Booker, those were they keys in his teams’s loss. “I would say I got to run the game back and watch it and digest it, but the early things that you look at are that exactly,” he said postgame.

“Getting 17 more shots than us, turning the ball over, giving them 18 that way, second chance points also, offensive rebounds. Those are the main things I can see off the bat. But we need some time to digest it and see what really went on.”
