The Suns received a big boost as they traded for Kevin Durant before this year’s trade deadline. Phoenix went 8-0 with him on the roster.
In addition to his scoring ability, Durant brings championship experience, having won the title twice with the Warriors.
Ahead of the first round series against the Clippers, Devin Booker says that having KD on the roster adds a little bit more pressure on the team.
“Never something I would have expected and couldn’t of even dreamed it but it’s here now,” Booker said about Durant being his teammate, via Kellan Olson. “I think that adds a little bit of pressure to everybody knowing that you have somebody that’s been there and finished it and that’s the expectation.”
